This page is provided as an aid to locating ferry services between France and Britain. A lot of our previous guests have driven down from Calais and report that the journey via the main roads (some tolls) is very good and takes about 4-5 hours. The closest ferry port is Caen (45 minutes), but Le Havre (90 minutes) is becoming a popular destination because some very good deals can be had from the ferry providers who use that route.
